Kiteboarding / kitesurfing Camps in Greece (Cape Drepano)
What is really important when you learn how to kitesurf is how many hours you are practicing and how many days in a row you are in the water. It’s no use of doing 2 hours lesson today and then does another 2 hours two weeks later because you must start all over again. That’s why if you really want to learn kiteboarding we suggest you book a kite camp where we will spend the whole day seeing, learning and talking about kitesurfing.
The kitesurfing camps are taking place to our home-base at Cape Drepano and the area around it, where we have more than 8 kite spots around and wind all day long (Aliki, Nikoleika, Tripia, Digeliotika, Bouka, etc).
The season starts from March until late October and there is no minimum amount of people or number of days to participate in a Kite Camp. You can come by yourself for as many days as you like. We can also arrange transportation for you from the International airports around (Athens - 2 hours drive, Araxos - 1 hour drive) or you can come with your own car and public transportation. You can book a place to stay through booking.com / Airbnb.com at the area around or let us arrange the accommodation for you.
Cape Drepano is considered to be one of the best kite spots in Europe because of the frequent winds that blowing more than 300 days per year. Nice northwest and southwest thermals from April to June and strong northeast and east winds from July to October. The long sandbar is providing an onshore side for beginners and an offshore flat side for the pro's. The school is providing rescue services with 2 powerful inflatable boats (more info here). Often you will find at the beach 3 or 4 sponsored rider training for the world cup like Youri Zoon, Stefan Spiessberger, Victor Haze, Liam Whaley and many more@!
Come with us and participate to one of our kite camps and live the experience that can change your life… for more information don’t hesitate to contact us.
